चरण १ : अपने घर के प्रवेश द्वार पर बाहर की ओर मुंह करके खड़े हो जाएं (जैसे कि आप अपने घर से बाहर जा रहे हों)।
चरण २ : जब आप चरण १ में बताई गई स्थिति में हों, तो कम्पास का उपयोग करके आप जिस दिशा का सामना कर रहे हैं, उसे रिकॉर्ड करें और आप वहीं हैं, जिस दिशा को आपने चरण २ में अभी-अभी नोट किया है, वह दिशा आपके घर की ओर है।
इसलिए, यदि आपके घर से बाहर निकलते समय , आपका मुख उत्तर की ओर है - तो आपके पास उत्तर की ओर मुख वाला घर है; इसी तरह यदि आप अपने घर से बाहर निकलते समय दक्षिण की ओर मुंह करते हैं, तो आपके पास दक्षिणमुखी घर है।
और जब यह आपके घर का सामना करने की बात आती है तो यह बहुत ज्यादा है।
यहां, मुझे आपको यह स्पष्ट करना चाहिए कि ऐसे कई उदाहरण हैं जब लोग सोचते हैं - या विश्वास के लिए बनाया जाता है - कि आप अपने घर में प्रवेश करते समय जिस दिशा का सामना करते हैं वह आपके घर का सामना करना पड़ता है और यह पूरी तरह से गलत है।

वास्तु शास्त्र में 4 उप-दिशाओं की बहुत प्राथमिकता और महत्व है क्योंकि वे वही हैं जहां आपके घर में बेडरूम, किचन, लिविंग रूम, गेस्ट रूम आदि रखा जाना चाहिए।
मुद्दा यह है कि आपको अपने घर को वास्तु के अनुरूप बनाने के लिए न केवल उस दिशा की पहचान करने की आवश्यकता है जिस दिशा में आपका घर है, बल्कि सभी 4 उप-दिशाएं भी हैं।
तो बिना किसी देरी के, आइए देखें कि आप सभी 4 उप-दिशाओं को आसानी से कैसे पहचान सकते हैं।
वास्तु में उप-दिशाएं – उन्हें कैसे पहचानें
सभी उप-दिशाओं की पहचान करने के लिए, पहली चीज जो आपको जानने की जरूरत है वह है मुख्य दिशाएं और यह कि आप वही कर सकते हैं जैसा कि मैंने इसी लेख के पिछले भाग में ऊपर उल्लेख किया है।
मुख्य दिशाओं अर्थात उत्तर, दक्षिण, पूर्व और पश्चिम को चिह्नित करने के बाद यहां 4 उप-दिशाओं को चिह्नित करने का सबसे आसान तरीका है
जिस स्थान पर उत्तर और पूर्व दिशा मिलती है वह स्थान उत्तर-पूर्व का कोना है।
जिस बिंदु पर दक्षिण और पूर्व पक्ष मिलते हैं वह दक्षिण-पूर्व कोना है।
जिस कोने में दक्षिण और पश्चिम मिलते हैं, वह दक्षिण-पश्चिम कोना है और
उत्तर-पश्चिम कोना वह है जहां पश्चिम उत्तर से मिलता है।
Remedy for flats is not usually possible. Vastu Dosh means defects of a paranormal nature present in a dwelling place, house, commercial building or any other type of construction. It would take detailed examination and extensive remodeling most likely. It is very difficult to apply Vastu principle to an existing flat.
Analysis of a flat requires expert and careful consultation before finalisation.
Going to buy a flat/ apartment / bunglow or land on your own for residential or commercial use. Do go through some of the TIPS before finalisation of the deal.
Flat must be of regular shape such as rectangular or square.
While selecting flat check properly that every room has four corners or walls.
There should be more openness in North/East sides as compared to South/West sides. S and W balconies to be avaoided. (Northern and/or on the Eastern sides which are auspicious.)
The kitchen should never fall in Northeast side. Ideal place is southeast. The cook should face east while cooking.
The master bedrooms should be in the southwest corner of the house. The position of the bed should be in such a way that one sleep with head towards South and not North under any circumstances.
The drawing room should be in northwest, east side of the apartment.
Guest room can be accomodated in the north-western part of the entire apartment.
The bathroom should be constructed in the west or south direction.
Worshiping room is prefered in the Northeast part of the house or that place be kept clean and clear of any heavy weights.
Keep an eye that there are no construction in the brahma sthal.
The store room should not be in the N/E or S/E of the apartment.
Choose a flat/apartment having entrance in North, East, Northern north-west or Southern south/east . Avoid main door in Southern south/west, Western south/west and Northern north/west
Avoid purchasing flats with cuts in North-east or South-east direction.
Check out the North-east corner of flat as this portion must be left with no garbage or weight or left open.
Toilets and bathrooms in the flat must be built in the south-west or in south directions.
Avoid selecting a house or a land within a radius of 100 yards from Towers emiting High levels of EMF/RF waves. So far no evidence is available in published scientific reports that these Towers causes health issues.

For the non believers, you need to buy or build your house according to the norms of vastu shastra, otherwise at the time of disposing off the property at a later time, one won’t find good buyers and may fetch much lower price than the prevailing market value which is not the case with a Vastu compliant one, which will command a premium and ready buyers.
